| Shipping The RC PIT Hobbies sends packages via accredited and nationally recognised carriers Australian Post (Australian Air Express). We do not COD goods. We do not deliver to PO BOX numbers. At this present time we only accept international orders if your payment is made via Bank Transfer or Direct Deposit. If you are an international customer please email us and wait to be contacted with an exact charge for shipping and total order cost. International customers are accountable for any import taxes they may be required to pay upon receiving goods. Shipping is calculated upon checkout and you are provided with a number of options to choose from that best suite you. We do not charge a standard shipping rate for orders as we believe profiteering from shipping is wrong. Please allow 2-3 working days for your order to be delivered. Customers outside the metropolitan areas please not that it may take another 3-7 days for your delivery to arrive. Returns This document provides you with the correct procedures for claiming your warranty, your rights as a consumer to return a product and also governs the rules for these procedures. Please read them carefully and completely before purchasing goods from The RC PIT Hobbies or attempting to make a warranty claim. Receiving Your Order When you receive your order, please follow these procedures: - Check that the correct goods have been sent to you. Make sure your invoice is correct. - Carefully unpack and inspect all merchandise, taking care not to damage the original packaging. - Do not throw away any of the original packaging materials, such as boxes, instructions, inserts, bags, etc., until you are satisfied with your order. - Please keep the supplied The RC PIT Hobbies invoice or packing slip and shipping slip with your important records. - Enjoy your new product! Read all instruction manuals before installing, testing & using your goods. Returning Merchandise You may only return goods for a full refund or request a refund within 5 business days of receiving your order providing all of the guidelines set out in this document have been met. When returning merchandise, please make sure these steps are taken: - Notify The RC PIT Hobbies via phone or email. - Include a photocopy of your original invoice. - Include a brief note explaining the reason for the return. - All returned items must be sent via prepaid shipping. Returns sent COD shipping will be refused. - Credit will be given only for items that we physically receive and inspect. To avoid any complications, be sure that you insure your return shipment. - Returns must be in brand new, mint condition where possible, in the original, undamaged manufacturer’s packaging including all packaging materials. - If damage occurred during transit, please do not dispose of the packaging or item. Contact The RC PIT Hobbies immediately. - All items returned without fault will incur a 20% re-stocking fee. This fee is not negotiable. Please choose your products carefully. Goods Returned for Credit or Repair & Restocking Charges As more than 80% of all goods returned are found to be in working condition, we are forced to charge a minimum of $25.00AUD inc GST per hour (minimum one hour) for testing and returning non-faulty goods. Testing and returning goods to manufacturers agents takes time and labour on our part, as well as incurring shipping costs back and forth. These shipping cost are to be paid by the customer. We will not accept COD shipping and goods will not be accepted. Restocking charges are catered for under ACCC guidelines for refunds of goods under warranty claims. Warranty It is IMPORTANT to contact The RC PIT Hobbies immediately if you believe that an item is defective in any way and you believe a warranty claim needs to be carried out. Please read through this document and our Conditions of Use before making contact. Please note that product manufacturers provide their own warranty. If parts are purchased from us and there is a fault during the warranty period that is attributable to a manufacturing defect, the parts are replaced or repaired. Warranty does not cover damage to goods caused by customers such as: - Misuse or ill-treatment. - Not following the manual or the correct procedures. - Tampering with manufacturer’s internal components or original settings. - Any consequential damage to other parts or the loss of data. Warranty Turnaround Time Turnaround time for warranty claims largely depend on manufacturers or distributors response and availability of products. We will try our best to speed up the process. Please understand the time involved for a warranty claim will include: the time it takes for you to send us the item, our time to test the item, shipping back to the supplier, supplier’s own test and replacement/repair, and the shipping back to us then onto you, the customer. On an estimate you can expect this process to take anywhere from 5 working days to more than Four weeks. |
